Operation Manager – AIF & PMS

AlphaMine is a Quantitative Investment Management firm offering regulated funds and portfolio management services to global clientele. AlphaMine is the brainchild of the team at AlphaGrep, a SEBI regulated broker and multi asset proprietary trading firm focused on quantitative trading on more than 20 global exchanges.

At AlphaMine, we are seeking a bright and resourceful individual to lead our Operations team in Mumbai.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Managing the client onboarding process – Coordination with distributors/sales team for doing KYC of new fund investors
  • Responsible for preparation & delivery of monthly, quarterly, yearly investor reporting's for funds
  • Responsible for ensuring all regulatory reporting and compliances in a timely manner in co-ordination with funds accounting team and legal and compliance teams.
  • Responsible for managing investors queries on regular basis.
  • Preparing & sending funds’ performance to investors in collaboration with Investment team
  • Reviewing Capital Calls and Investor Statement of Accounts
  • Monitoring Investor Pay-outs and Distributions, Management Fees, Vendor Expenses charged to Fund.
  • Calculation of fees including Setup fees, Management fees, Custody, Performance fees, Exit load, Brokerage, Margins, PCM charges, Distributor brokerage and other charges.
  • Preparing Fund NAV and Investor NAV on monthly basis
  • Preparing the IRR and carry calculation for the Investor and Fund
  • Preparing periodic statements for investors including fund updates, NAV, drawdown notices and statement of holding
  • Daily cashflow management of the Fund, investment of surplus funds
  • Issuing of deal tickets for trades of the Fund, transfer of securities from the Fund and reporting of trades at stock exchanges
  • Maintaining MIS of investors in the Fund and co-investors in transactions and managing the pay-outs
  • Liaising with vendors for updated portfolio statements, income calculation, fund accounting, tax related queries, etc.
  • Liaising with Auditors and Tax consultants
  • Handling taxation matters such as TDS, GST payments including periodic return filing. Advance tax management including Provision & Payment at quarter end.

Required Skills:

  • 8-10  years of experience in AIF and PMS products
  • Strong functional knowledge across all asset classes
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with MS Office
  • A strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
